The mission and vision of the college is to provide quality education by fostering innovation and research and achieve academic excellence.
NIET offers courses in the fields of Engineering, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Management and Research. NIET offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D courses. The total number of faculty members in the college is 193 and the total number of students enrolled is 4859. Thus, the student-teacher ratio at NIET is 15:1. NIET provides facilities like laboratories, gym, sports, cafeteria, IT infrastructure, transport, library, boys hostel, girls hostel, computer lab, etc. The college provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostels are very comfortable for the accommodation of outstation students. The hostel rooms are well-ventilated. The college hostel also provides recreational facilities. The college cafeteria provides hygienically prepared multicuisine food.
Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology Greater Noida provides a spacious library spread over an area of 14,000 square feet. The college library has a vast collection of books, numerous national and international journals and periodicals. The library is opened 24X7 during exam days. The college auditorium can accommodate a large number of people and is used for organising multipurpose activities like seminars, workshops, etc. The college transport facility is available for both students and faculty members.

Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students (Technical Degree)- This scholarship is offered by the All India Council for Technical education. To avail this scholarship, the girl student should be pursuing the first year of degree level course and the annual family income should be up to Rs 8 lakh. The scholarship amount awarded under this scheme is Rs 50,000 per annum.
Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially-Abled Student (Technical Degree)- To avail this scholarship, students should be pursuing the first year of degree level course, should have a disability of not less than 40% and annual family income should be up to Rs 8 lakh. Rs 50,000 per annum is the amount awarded under this scheme.
Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students- This scholarship is awarded by the central government. To avail this scholarship, students should have above 80% marks in 10+2 and should be pursuing a regular course with an annual family income up to Rs 8 lakh. Rs 10,000 per annum for the UG program and Rs 20,000 for the PG program are awarded under this scheme.
Financial Support to the Students of NER for Higher Professional Courses (NEC Merit Scholarship)- Candidates should be a permanent resident of any of the North Eastern States, should have minimum 60% aggregate marks in 10+2/ graduation and an annual family income of Rs 8 lakh. Rs 22,000 per annum at UG level and Rs 25,000 per annum is awarded under this scheme.
Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University releases the cutoff for admission to B.Tech programme. Scores of JEE Main are offered for admission and NIET cutoff is released based on JEE Main. The cutoffs are released as opening and closing ranks. Candidates meeting the cutoff can apply for NIET. The cutoff is determined by the number of factors like availability of seats, the difficulty level of the exam, the number of students appearing for the exam and so on.
NIET offers placement assistance to its final year students every year with the help of its placement cell. The Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology placement cell is popularly known as Career Management Cell. The placement cell conducts various pre-placement training programs like personality development training, group discussions and mock interviews. The placement cell also conducts career counseling for the students. The college placement cell has an excellence center in collaboration with Hewlett Packard, which professionals train students for placement. The college also provides infrastructure facilities to ensure the smooth conduction of the placement process.
