What is GATE Exam?
GATE 2024 Exam: The GATE examination is a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted for the admission of graduate students into Post Graduate courses. The candidates looking forward to M.Tech admission, other PG courses or PSU recruitment will have to appear in GATE Exam. Interested & Eligible candidates can register themselves on www.gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The application process for GATE 2024 will be started on 24th August 2023, and interested candidates can submit their online application forms till 29th September 2023. About GATE 2024 Exam
For the year 2024, IISc Bangalore is the organising institute for GATE Exam 2024. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee. The scores of GATE 2024 will be valid for 3 years as from the time of scorecard release date. The exam score is used by different Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture Government institutes to select students for master programs and Doctoral Programs. The total number of papers has been revised to 29 Subjects with an addition of two new subject papers Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

GATE 2024 Application Fee
With the submission of duly filled application form, the candidates have to pay the required application fee else their applications will not be accepted. The category-wise GATE 2024 Application Fees has been tabulated below.
